A transport company together with a city develops areas around a station that isn’t used anymore. A sustainability concept should be an integral part of a new master plan that was being developed.
Our solution
denkstatt developed the aspired sustainability qualities and strategic sustainability objectives in a series of workshops. These objectives were then operationalized by defining criteria, indicators and target qualities and integrated into a sustainability concept.
Our denkstatt consulting team was also part of the quality board to ensure that the sustainability qualities such as an attractive mix of uses, diverse housing and work options, flexibility in future development or a car-free inner area were reflected both in the new masterplan as well as in individual plans on mobility, green spaces, and other topics.
